Shawna Macfarlane, GO Tennis Director

SHAWNA brings a unique combination of skills and qualifications to our tennis club. She is a former collegiate athlete with a strong junior résumé in the United States. With 42 years of experience as the Director of Tennis with the Niagara Falls Country Club in Lewiston, NY and a long-time association with the USTA as a community tennis leader, Shawna has seen all sides of the tennis world.

At the heart of the GO Team philosophy is one simple belief: Great tennis experiences are built through community, consistency, and passion. Shawna has built and led the GO Tennis junior and adult programs for NOTL Tennis Club for 13 years, creating fun, inclusive, well-run pathways that grow players and strengthen a club community.

Scott Hurtubise, Club Pro 3 / Coach 3

SCOTT is one of only a handful of coaches in Canada to hold both Tennis Canada Coach 3 and Club Pro 3 certifications, placing him among the country's highest-certified professionals. He is also a Master Racquet Technician and a Coach Developer with Tennis Canada.

A two-time Canada Games coach and World University Games coach, Scott has been recognized nationally for his program success. While his experience spans every level of the game, he remains as passionate about helping a child or adult hit their very first tennis ball.

Adam Wodz, Tennis Coordinator / Tennis Pro

ADAM ... returning for his 3rd season with us!

A familiar and trusted face on court, Adam brings great energy, professionalism, and a genuine connection with our players - whether leading GO Match-Ups, supporting clinics, or keeping the courts buzzing. Adam is also your go to contact for club tennis information, from how to join a club or member group, to registering for GO Coed Match-Ups and signing up for GO Tennis Clinics. Look for Adam's Serving Academy coming in May!

Tessa Macfarlane, Junior Program Lead / Tennis Pro

TESSA brings heart, energy and a lifelong love of the game to everything she does on court. A graduate of Ridley College and the University of Guelph, she now works in Occupational Therapy, blending her passion for people, movement and confidence-building.

A familiar face around the court and no stranger to a rally, Tessa has truly grown up in the game. Look for Tessa during our GO Junior Program and our Tuesday and Thursday GO Clinics where her positive energy, playful coaching style, and genuine care for every player bring the true GO Team spirit to life.

Seth Kovnats, Associate Tennis Pro

SETH brings energy, experience and heart to the GO Team.

With more than 15 years of coaching and his Tennis Canada Club Pro 1 certification, Seth works confidently with juniors and adults alike, from first-time players to advanced competitors. Known for his positive, motivating approach, Seth loves helping players challenge themselves, grow their confidence, and keep getting better both physically and mentally on court.
